This was the first year our school has done Apex and our kids loved it. We held our fundraiser two weeks before state testing because we wanted our students to use the leadership skills learned through the daily POWER lessons on their test. We had a rally right before the Fun Run and the Apex lead spoke at it and got the kids pumped up for both testing and the run.

The Best Two Weeks of the School Year

Your local team works out a backup plan with you before event day rather than scrambling on it. If weather is a regular problem for your campus, Glow Run is the same program run indoors, so rain never enters the picture.

A standard field, blacktop, or track works. Your local team walks your space with you ahead of time and designs the course around what you actually have, so you're not trying to force your campus into a fixed template.

Most schools invite them, and it's usually one of the best-attended days of the year. Your local team will help you plan for spectators, including where families stand and how to keep the course clear.
