Hi, I’m Saswathi.
I live and work right here in Maryland with my husband and 2 kids. I left the federal workforce after USAID was disbanded to bring funding to local schools and build a supportive community.
I’m proud to bring Apex Leadership Co. to our local schools. My family is part of this community, and my team will be too. When you partner with Apex, you’re getting a nationally established program backed by local ownership, accountability, and care.

From the moment they arrived, our students were excited and motivated every single day. The enthusiasm was contagious, and it created such a positive atmosphere throughout the school. At our Glow Party celebration, two students came up to me and said, “This is the best day ever!” and “I love school now, I wish they didn’t have to leave!” Hearing that from our students said everything about the impact the APEX team had on them. Beyond the fun, students were learning meaningful lessons about leadership. They discovered that leadership can look different for everyone and that each of them has the ability to be a leader every day. The message that every child has the choice to lead, no matter who they are, was incredibly powerful. The prizes and incentives were exciting and motivating for our students, and the structure of the program ensured that every child could participate and feel like an important part of the fundraiser. It truly created a sense of community and teamwork across the entire school. Overall, the APEX experience brought positivity, leadership, and excitement to our students while supporting our school in a meaningful way.
