Hi! I’m Kate Hanauer.
I’m the proud owner of Apex Leadership Co. Upper Palmetto! My family and I live in Fort Mill, SC and we’re grateful to call South Carolina home.
As a mom of two school-aged kids, I know firsthand how important strong schools, dedicated teachers, and supportive communities are to our children’s success. I also know how much time and energy school fundraising can require, which is one of the things I love most about Apex. Our team handles the heavy lifting, taking the pressure off teachers and parent volunteers, while helping schools raise meaningful funds and creating an experience students will remember long after the event is over.
Before Apex, I spent nearly 20 years in healthcare, where I developed a deep appreciation for building relationships, supporting others, and making a positive difference in people’s lives. I’m someone who genuinely enjoys getting to know people, making connections, and finding ways to give back to the community. That’s one of the things I love most about Apex! It’s so much more than a fundraiser. It’s an opportunity to build confidence, encourage kindness, celebrate teamwork, and help kids recognize the leaders within themselves.
My goal is to be a true partner to the schools I serve, celebrating what makes each one special and creating experiences that bring students, teachers, and families together.
